This past week I was given the opportunity to have an online mini interview with Ms. Tokyo DIIVA. She surely is a Diva and her style is beyond fierce. This young woman has taken over the New York City streets by becoming one of the best Fashionista/Entertainers there is. She currently is the CEO and founder of The Juice Krew. A trendsetting team that has taken over New York City based on their trends, talents and charisma. I admire her style and her music. Look out for her because she is taking over. She has a passion for anything entertainment and that’s going to take her far beyond any measure!

KrissyJ: What motivated you to be a pop artist?
Tokyo Diiva: I love to entertain and I love music. My ipod consists of alot of 80s pop and I am inspired by old Madonna tracks and Janet Jackson, Cyndi Lauper etc and I would love to be such a major impact on the music industry as they did in their time and still now.
KrissyJ: How long have u been doing music?
Tokyo Diiva: For about 5 years now. Before that I used to model and had a passion for acting.
KrissyJ: In your opinion what is your best accomplishment thus far?
Tokyo Diiva: My biggest accomplishment so far in my opinion is haven gotten so far and gained such a huge fan base [[over 2million views on Myspace]] with no major record label or major celebrity backing me. I can pat myself on the back for that!!
KrissyJ: Who inspires you?
Tokyo Diiva: I am inspired by random people fiction and nonfiction. I love watching old youtubes of Madonna and seeing all her fans dressing like her and it reminds me of my bday party when everybody came in their best Tok attire and makes me smile to think that I could have inspired just like she had when she was new to the music scene! Janet & Michael Jackson inspires me sooo much especially having fashion as a big part of their whole success [[sequence, glove, performance costumes]]
KrissyJ: What celebrity would you love to work with?
Tokyo Diiva: I would love to have a chance to work with soo many different people from different genres of music. There is sooo many talents in the industry I can’t really decide!! A few I’d name is Gwen Stefani, Fall out Boys, Pharell, and so many others but I don’t want to name too many!
KrissyJ: Where do you see yourself in the next year?
Tokyo Diiva: I definitely see me taking my talent and buzz to a completely higher level. I definitely want to have a complete album done, a huge funder behind my project whether its a label or just a huge investor so I can aggressively take my rightful bite out of the industry. Everybody knows the industry is missing something, I’m definitely ready to fill that gap!
