This young prodigy is making it big in NY. Queens borough native, started a fashion line that has already been acknowledged by the Museum of Modern Art. KrissyJ: What motivated you to design?
JES: Sh!tty clothes for females. When I finally was able to afford to start something the girl clothing lines started to dominate. I said fu©k it and did it anyway

KrissyJ: How long have you been designing?
JES: I’ve been into graff since 95. Graphic design since 01 and Tough Love will be one year old Jan 11th. Happy Birthday Tough Love!!


KrissyJ: In your opinion what is your best accomplishment thus far?
JES: Wow I’ve had quite a few this year. Tough Love, being featured in the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and being part of the Phunky Phat Phemz art show

KrissyJ: Who inspires you?
JES: KA, he plays a mean game of creative ping pong

What celebrity would you love to work with?
JES: I wouldn’t call them celebrities but, I would love to collaborate with Claw Money, Kid Robot and MAC.

KrissyJ: Where do you see yourself in the next year?
JES: I really haven’t thought about it, sh!t I’m just trying to get through a day at a time haha

What should your fans/consumers be looking out for?
JES: Designs that reflect my everyday thoughts mixed with a whole lotta personality and hope everyone likes it.
