My morning started of kind of dreary, not wanting to go to class; lack of motivation. However, being that I paid thousands of dollars for a college education regardless of how I feel I go to class. In my communications course we had a guest speaker, Lisa Rosenthal. For those of you unfamiliar with that name I’m sure the television shows, “Martin”, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, “The Steve Harvey Show,” and “Married with Children” all sound familiar. She produced and wrote for those shows for years. She now resides in Tampa, Florida and is a professor at The University of Tampa. Coming to Florida she knew that her career was pretty much defamed but she enjoys encouraging students to become successful in their hopes to be writers.

was her best advice to all of us aspiring to have a bright career. She motivated me to keep pushing. It takes a while but, I know I will get there… I’m back in game mode!!
