Natural Hair for the “Sistas”
This fall in hair it is all about VOLUME! Natural hair is def becoming a trend in the African-American community. I myself joined the natural community two years ago. The only reason I haven’t worn my hair out much is because it is time consuming with my schedule. I am considering making time for it this Fall though. I love the look. Check out Lecoil for inspiration if you are considering going natural.
Mustard
This is a staple color that should be added to the wardrobe whether in a top, cardigan, a dress, or socks paired with loafers.
Denim
Denim has been sashaying her way in since last Fall but it is becoming more apparent this year. If you don’t have a denim top, jacket or vest before September…you are just sleeping on style. Check your local thrift.
Cardigan and Khaki
Cardigans are a staple piece for everyone’s wardrobe. You can dress them up or down. This season seek colors like turquoise, green, rust, mustard, royal blue or grey. You will def fit in on trend.
Bright cropped pants
Color blocking is a major look this season. The cropped look is also in. Find a colored pant that compliments what is already in your wardrobe.
Other staple pieces include: Chuck jewelry, leopard or animal print and loafers.
